Bobby Ingham (b. 2001, Leeds) is an interdisciplinary artist and electronic and spoken-word musician working across sculpture, film, and sound. His practice explores identity, escapism, and lived experience through constructed environments and heightened atmospheres, drawing on both personal narratives and those of others. Ingham engages the esoteric through costume, colloquial language, and symbolic gesture, blending the real with the mystical and historical to examine contemporary urban life in the North of England. His works operate as open systems where material, image, and sound intersect, investigating memory, place, and the possibility of escape within modern city living.

Alongside his visual practice, Ingham produces fast, heavy, and atmospheric electronic and spoken-word music, punctuated by ambient passages that slow the tempo and offer moments of release. Using field recordings, synthesizers, drum machines, and voice, he builds dense soundscapes that channel tension into immersive experiences. Regional colloquialisms and his own Northern accent are folded into the compositions, treating the voice as an instrument and vernacular speech as texture within the work.

Ingham graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2023 and studied on the Conditions Studio Programme (2024) and Conditions Online Programme (2025).
