Bobby Ingham is an artist from Leeds (b.2001). His practice involves exploring identities, escapisms, and experiences. He does so primarily through the mediums of sculpture, film and sound. Bobby draws on his own and others lived experiences to create and locate settings in which his works exist. The use of the esoteric is prevalent in his work, from costumes to colloquialisms. These techniques reference modern living in the city, in particular ‘The North.’ It is through recalling real life experiences sometimes combining the real with the mystical and dystopian that he explores escapes from the mundane.
Work featured by ICA, Fader and NTS.
